I can’t think of a time when dogs didn’t play a significant role in my life. I came from a large family, and we always had dogs when I

I can’t think of a time when dogs didn’t play a significant role in my life. I came from a large family, and we always had dogs when I
grew up in New Westminster. I started obedience training my very own first pup in 1960. Tass was a Lab/Samoyed cross and I
quickly learned that she had a mind of her own, but she also had a huge heart. She taught me a lot about the value of patience and consistency in working with these amazing animals. Years later I moved to Nanaimo where I became active in Obedience and Agility with my Shelties. In 1999, I completed my first UD with Marpoint’s Charlotte Harlot OTCh. Carley was also a wonderful clown, and she clinched my love of the Obedience and Rally obedience sports. She also sparked my interest in judging.
Eventually I was smitten by the intelligence and wonderful attitude of Papillons. I completed 2 more UD’s with Ch. Keandas Blazing Rainbows OTCh and Ch. Littlewing’s Tiddlywinks OTCh, RAE before being licensed to judge in 2016. My youngest Pap, Ch. Littlewing’s Satin Flower,CD is currently very active in Scent Detection, for which I am also Licensed under CKC. I have so enjoyed judging and am constantly inspired by the courage and love shown by Obedience competitors for their wonderful dogs and look forward to many more years as an obedience and Rally judge

I have been involved with Shelties for most of my life, with the breed becoming a true passion of mine at the age of 9. My journey

I have been involved with Shelties for most of my life, with the breed becoming a true passion of mine at the age of 9. My journey
began alongside my mother, Lorna Stolz, who founded Mystic Kennels after acquiring our first show dog from Lyn Wolanski (Talamar) in 1988. Her name was “Mystic”. When my mother retired from breeding in 2006, I continued the Mystic legacy, which has remained very meaningful to me, especially since her and my father‘s passing.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to produce multiple Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, and National Best in Show winners in both Canada and the U.S.A, along with numerous ROMC and ROM recipients.
I began in the sport as a junior handler and later handled professionally, finishing hundreds of Canadian and American champions, many of whom earned multiple Best in Show and Specialty wins. In 2004 I opened up my own grooming salon. I love this industry, and I am grateful to own and operate my business. Before dogs, I was actively involved with horses, which helped shape my foundation in animal care, and presentation. Today, I balance my passion for dogs with being a mother to my two daughters, with whom I spend as much time as possible. I am truly honoured to be invited to judge Juvenile and Veteran Sweepstakes and look forward to evaluating the promising young dogs and celebrating our wonderful veterans of the breed
